Weekly Update: Oct 15th

Hi ÉGSS families, 

We’re thinking of you and cheering you on this week.  However your household is juggling things right now, we’re in your corner and we’re here to help. 

Here are a few quick updates:

  1. Hot Lunches (next week). If there’s no change in the strike status, we’ll cancel all hot lunches for next week and notify families by Friday, October 17th.  If anything changes before then, we’ll pivot and let you know right away. 
  2. Hallowe’en Dance – Volunteer Sign Up We’re still planning next week’s Hallowe’en Dance as a tentative event.  It will run only if the strike has ended, but we still need volunteers lined up so we’re ready to go. 👉 Please add your name to the volunteer list if you’re available.  If the event can’t proceed, we’ll let you know promptly. 
  3. New: Support for Families During the Strike We’ve added a “Support for Families”page to our website with local ideas, activities, and camps that are open during the strike.  We’ll keep growing this list – email us if you know of another resource we should include.
